Not when done thoughtfully. My goal is never to take away your ability to express yourself. It is to soften movement and help you look refreshed and rested while still looking like you. I believe in subtle changes that enhance your features, not change them.
This is not one size fits all. I look at facial structure, proportions, goals and what will compliment your features. Sometimes it means adding filler and sometimes it means telling you you don't need it. My approach is less-is-more when it comes to natural looking results.
Botox isn't instant. You may notice changes within a few days, with full effect developing in two weeks. Give your treatments time to settle to assess appropriate changes.
A skin treatment designed to help overall appearance and texture of the skin. It can help with dullness, congestion, and uneven looking skin while promoting a brighter, smoother complexion. There is down-time of about one week for this peel.
Botox commonly lasts 3-4 months with movement returning gradually. This varies on person to person and depends on area treated, muscle strength, dose and your metabolism.
Filler is a place and leave kind of treatment. This depends on product, treatment area and metabolism and can last anywhere from 6 months to years.
Avoid touching the treated area, avoid strenuous exercise and heat (ie: sauna) for 24 hours, for Botox stay upright for 4 hours post treatment.
Most importantly some bruising and swelling is normal. If you experience severe pain, unusual skin color changes, significant swelling or visual changes contact me immediately.
A VO happens when filler goes into or against vasculature impeding blood flow. This is an emergency as decreased blood flow to tissue can cause tissue death. Contact Injector Kiki immediately for dissolving treatment and medical care.
